LAS COOPERATIVAS EN LA LITERATURA ACADÉMICA: UN ANÁLISIS BIBLIOMÉTRICO EN EL CONTEXTO LATINOAMERICANO

Las cooperativas son una organización económica fundamental en los países emergentes por su contribución al bienestar social y económico de los territorios donde están implantadas. La contribución de estas organizaciones está suscitando un cada vez mayor interés por parte de la academia. En este contexto, se plantea este trabajo que pretende analizar los aportes científicos realizados sobre cooperativismo, como parte fundamental de la Economía Social y Solidaria, en la literatura académica de las últimas tres décadas. Los resultados muestran una tendencia creciente en la producción científica, aunque desigual tanto por países de producción y objetivo de análisis, como por temáticas predominantes.
