Abstract

We hack the patriarchy: an analysis of digital machismo brings together more than twenty researchers and is coordinated by Soledad Torres Guijarro, professor at the Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Vigo. The volume, published in the Feminismos collection of Editorial Galaxia, compiles seven investigations on machismo on the Internet, four of them developed by the Feminismos 4.0 Chair of the University of Vigo, co-financed by the Provincial Council of Pontevedra, which explore the mechanisms of machismo digital today.
