Abstract

The work exposes the historical roots of the process of changes that Venezuela lives under Hugo Chávez government to demonstrate how, from the period of crisis of the colonial society, the popular movements had played a principal character into the determination of the fundamental historical changes. Venezuela history is characterized by frequently political revolutions in which an insurgent group of popular roots overthrows to the previously existent one. The fight of classes in Venezuela was not invented by Chávez. The social conflict is related to our historical process. The important point of the current process is that his national and popular program continues, and faces conspiracies and pacts which made to wander all of the previous revolutions.
