¿RECUPERACIÓN OU INVENCIÓN?

Abstract

The current “heritage fever” has reached even the field of tourism in rural areas. In the Galician case, the strong tradition related to peasant house is used to offer an “authentic” environment to the urban people demanding peaceful rest. We explore here how certain material elements of the so-called traditional peasant house are manipulated to reach this image.
