La transformación de los espacios de sociabilidad en la Cuba finisecular. El caso de la Asociación de Dependientes del Comercio de la Habana (1880-1898)

Abstract

The present article is about transformations that took place in the spaces of sociability in Cuba during the last quarter of the XIXth century. Through the study of the «Clerks’ Center of the Commerce of Havana», this work pays attention to the reforms of the system of the colonial domination, the consequent modernization of the cuban society and the development of associations created by spanish immigrants.
