Abstract

The lava tube was discovered in 2004. The tube doesn’t have jameos, but it
possesses a 200 metres of longitude and it has diverse forms (terraces, stalactites, etc.), these morphologies are scarce in number and not very varied. The aim of this study is to evaluate their geomorphic heritage. The methodology is based on the assessment of geomorphosites of the previous authors in Natural Protected Areas (NPAs). The features of lava tube are: simple, common, practically lineal, with simple longitudinal profile and simple plants and symmetrical tranversal sections. Therefore, the interest of lava tube morphology is minimum and this presents low intrinsic and added values with high use value.
