Desde Galicia a la Habana. Una historia de vida común.

Abstract

This article points the story of a Galician inmigrant who belonged to a family chain of inmigrants. She was part of the massive inmigration from Galicia to Cuba in the early XX Century. Through her daughter memory, adding the proper means of an historian proffesional, the article analyses the different motivations of inmigration at that time, how those inmigrants entered in Cuban society, thier daily life, the new cultural customs incorporated by them, the relationships stablished between people from different Spanish communities and the sense of homesickness always going with the inmigration.
