Prospección e Análise da Arte Rupestre en San Cristovo de Cea (Ourense)

Abstract

In this paper we present the results of the research project I+D+i in San Cristovo de Cea (Ourense). The main interest of this research lie in the discovery, register and analysis of every kind of rock art, without hesitate of its chronology. Thanks to G.I.S. software, the position of engravings in landscape is analyzed, and some conclusions about location trends are exposed. We conclude that there are two independent group of engravings, one provably historical compose by crosses and cup marks and a second compose by circles in Atlantic Art style.
