Abstract

Beyond the routes that are parte of Camino de Santiago, with the whole normative development for their patrimonial protection, the rest the historical ways that cross Galician territory, case of the royal ways of horse-shoe, they lack effective instruments for protection, in spite of its undeniable heritage dimension. In this work the importance of historical documentation in emphasized for the physical determination of their tracings and for the exhaustive cataloging of the values and elements that are part of their cultural heritage
