Abstract

The spatial planning, started in Spain through the development plans from the middle of the last century, is a very important function of public authorities in all Europe nowadays. This paper wants to bring up the subject of the relevance to accomplish a proper conceptualization and a correct specification of what must be understood by spatial planning. All this with the main purpose of guaranteeing the maximum operability of planning.
