The study of the common pottery recovered in the plots of Plaza Obispo Alcolea nº5 and Calle Bastión nº74-78, in the city of Astorga (León) is presented in commercial terms. On these sites it has been possible to document archaeological levels from the first camp phase and the conversion of the military cantonment into a civilian nucleus at the beginning of the 1st century AD, which we have been able to group into three contexts. The analysis of the different imported ceramic productions has provided abundant information on the different regions that supplied both the camp and the city, as well as the trade routes in which they were involved. The study of local productions reveals the early foundation of local workshops that would produce a wide-ranging ceramic repertoire.
