Galician inmigrant incorporation into El Cobre municipality (1902-1933)

Abstract

The article deals with the labor incorporation of the Galician immigrant in El Cobre between 1902 and 1933. Based on the socioeconomic characteristics of the receiving pole as a factor that promoted his move to the territory, it addresses his incursion into the occupations that the municipality demanded in both the first served as a cause, to some extent, for this purpose. Thus, it contributes to the studies of Galician representation in this scenario, where the topic has only been addressed from the work they carried out as miners.
