Abstract

Theorical and methodic approximation to the Sport History.- In this paper it defends the possibility and need for an approximation to the social institution of sport from historical estimates. Opposite to the lack of studies on this subject, it underlines the pertinence of its inclusion in the scope of the social history and sociability, and the necessity of introducing the historie variable for its conceptual fixing. Finally it studies sorne of the main sociologist theories proposed to explain its origins and development.
