Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The journal template has been used for formatting the file.
  • The file is in Microsoft Word format.
  • The submission has not been previously published and is not under review by any other journal.
  • Bibliographic references include, whenever possible, the DOI.

Author Guidelines

 

 - The REVISTA DE INVESTIGACIÓN EN EDUCACIÓN is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Education Science and Sports of University of Vigo. This journal published Research articles, reviews and letters are accepted for exclusive publication in REVISTA DE INVESTIGACIÓN, All manuscripts must be written in Spanish, Galician or English, which meet the requirements of scientific and methodological rigor of formal presentation properly. The study is the teaching and learning in different educational levels. This journal multidisciplinary.

- All papers must be unpublished and original. Not be accepted who have been published in whole or in part in any format, or those in process of being published or been submitted to another journal. When a work is signed by several authors, they accept public responsibility for the report.

- Contributions may be sent in Spanish, English or Galician language.

- It is mandatory to use the journal template. All manuscripts must be sent from our webpage

- The reception of papers is open during the months of April, May, October and November.

- The documents will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee will assess the initial quality and adaptation to the rules of publication. Subsequently be sent anonymously to the external referees according to their specialty. The referees will write a report on the adequacy of the scientific content.

- The Editorial Committee will look over the papers initially it will assess their adaptation to the publication standards and their quality in response to the originality and relevance of scientific research and the appropriateness of the bibliographic literature.

- The time to look through the original papers will be estimated about between six or twelve months.

- Once the paper had been accepted with modifications to the original document, the authors will have a period of one month to make the changes proposed by the Editorial Committee. If into this interval the amended paper was not received we will think a waiver to publish the article.

- The Editorial Board of the Journal is not responsible for the opinions of the authors and their scientific opinions. - Authors must read the Declaration of Ethics and Good Practices of the Journal.
