There are many efforts to deepen the research on academic goals related to students' performance; however, few studies have considered the motivational profiles approach in high school and the context of the exact and experimental sciences. This research aims to analyze the relationship between motivational profiles and academic performance in high school students, in the exact and experimental sciences. For this purpose, we have collected information from 204 students, aged 16 to 18, from four educational institutions in Mexico, who answered the Academic Goals Questionnaire. Results show the existence of four profiles, one can observe that the students who presented the multiple goal profile also obtained a better academic performance. This
