Verbos de estado y sus nominalizaciones. Una primera aproximación

Abstract

Since the seminal work of Grimshaw (1990), a considerable amount of attention has been given to eventive nominalizations. However, a few studies have addressed the relationship between stative verbs and their nominals. In the present paper we undertake a preliminary approach to this topic. We consider two groups of stative verbs —measure verbs and existential verbs— and examine the relationship between those verb and their respective nominals.
