Publication and circulation.

BABEL-AFIAL is published in the Open Access, free-of-charge mode for both authors and readers  (The Diamond OA Standard). The journal is presented in its original PDF format (issues were printed yearly as hard copies from 1992 to 2021) , now available for download by individual article, or review, or as full issue. The printing / circulation license corresponds to the following Creative Commons modality (see Creative Commons page  here)

Equality and Inclusivity.

BABEL -AFIAL adheres strictly to a gender equal policy, both in its editorial team (two men and two women) and in its advisory board, including three women and three men. The advisory board also adheres to these policies.

 

Publication Ethics and Plagiarism.

BABEL - AFIAL abides by the guidelines on transparency, publication ethics and professional editorial practices, along with the antiplagiarism policies established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), in order to ensure the quality and academic standard of the articles and reviews it publishes.  Any submission that does not abide by these principles, or which offers a reasonable doubt, will be immediately rejected.   

 

Interoperability Protocols.

The main objective of this metadata transcription format is to facilitate interoperability with OpenAIRE (Open Access Infraestructure for Research in Europe). OpenAIRE is designed to fulfil the European Commission's objective to ensure obstacle-free open access for research documents that receive public financing in Europe.
