BABEL – AFIAL is a non-profit journal that is run from the Faculty of Philology and Translation at the University of Vigo (Vigo Campus, Lagoas Marcosende, 36310, Vigo, Pontevedra). The journal is affiliated and financially managed by the University of Vigo through its university press services.  

From its foundation, the journal's editorial team has been composed by teachers and researchers from the Department of English, French, and German (h04), originally from the campus at Ourense,  and currently from the Vigo central Campus.
