Abstract

The aim of this work is to propose a new definition for the books that are known as picturebooks. 1 will collect and classify the definitions and commentaries that specialists and authors have made until now. At the same time 1 will analize the theorical studies about comic since my definition is based on the idea that picturebook and comic share the same conceptual foundations; both are sequential art of fixed and printed images.
