Dilema en la enseñanza del Quijote: edad de los destinatarios. Una primera aproximación a los niveles educativos de la lectura escolar del Quijote

It is very common to find works in specialized journals about anthologies, compendiums and brief editions of El Quijote and also, historical glances towards the use of the Cervantes work in schools throughout history, beginning with publications for children in XIX century and finishing with the IV centenary. Nevertheless, the critics dont make a real deep study of the implications that arise from the research according to the different educative levels throughout history. This paper tries to find the reasons for the use of El Quijote as a classic piece of work in primary and secondary education and also we will try to analyze the more important legislative and mediatic landmarks for its restoration as an obligatory canonical reading.
