Narrative on children and youth gypsies: an overview

From a repertoire of fifty titles, it gives an overview of the treatment to Roma culture in child and adolescent fiction Spanish, including translations from other literatures reference. lt is found that there is a dense network of stories in which the protagonist gypsy child or adolescent narratives supports attached to the usual sub-genres of fiction for children and youth. Cross-reading of this set is extracted information on the historical evolution of this community and the difficult to adapt. It is noticed the adequacy of gypsy theme for fiction and the ease of transmission of values.
