Literature, young readers, and screens: an exploratory study about literary interpretation of a literary work piece through digital resources

This paperwork investigates the impressions of six teenagers reading a literary work that use in ¡ts analogue format and application (App), digital resources to construct the narrative net. The study, propose in the first place to review the novel Pomelo y limón (Oro, 2011) in both formats (analogue and screen) and to find the relevance of hypertextual and interactive elements for the fictional composition. On the authorship level we can visualize that the novel uses the goodness of new technologies in two levels: as an instrument to expand knowledge o characters and various topics related to the events of the novel, through hyper linking tours; and also as a method to blur frontiers between real and imaginary world in the context of post modern literary production. On a second place this investigation makes ¡ts path in the incipient field of young reader answers to digital work pieces and proposes as an objective, to discover through descriptive and inferential content analysis the influence of hypermedia resources have in the interpretation of the novel, how readers signify answers though their individual and collective reflection on a literary discussion.
