Children literature in primary education foreig language learning: motivation, linguistic competence and positive attitude toward the language and culture

This study tries to demonstrate how primary education students can benefit from children literature to learn English. A close look to the most outstanding studies in the field has proven it to be an approach to acquire the linguistic competence, and to develop empathy and positive attitude towards the foreign language and culture. The research ¡s justified by the pressing need to improve English learning and its teaching; we present children literature as a motiving tool to achieve this aim.
