Cinderella: from oral to transmedia
Keywords:
Cinderella, tales, literature, oral, popularAbstract
This article aims to revalue children's literature presenting the historical path followed by the different versions of Cinderella, from its origins in the oral literature to the view given by new technologies.
To reach this aim, we have followed the phases of popular literature proposed by Antonio Rodríguez Almodóvar. Thus, we have tried to prove that this genre is not only addressed to children, but to an adult audience, which makes it an interesting historical and ethnographical document that shows the evolution of people through the art of storytelling.
