El conflicto entre las infraestructuras hidráulicas y el patrimonio histórico

Abstract

This article aims to provide answers to the conflict that arises between the construction of reservoirs and the impact that these works have on the historical heritage, from the point of view of administrative law and using the Declaration of Environmental Impact as the main tool. These answers are based on three types of solutions (documented with real cases) ranging from protectionism (suspend the work for the benefit of the historical asset) to developmentalism (overthrow or flood the historical asset), through intermediate solutions (transfer of the historical asset or coexistence with the hydraulic
infrastructure).
