Abstract

This paper analyze the efficiency of the regulation of water found in mining deposits. To achieve this objective, the legal regulations of this water in Spain, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, and Equatorial Guinea are critically reviewed. Based on this, the content of these laws is compared to Richard Posner's criteria to determine the efficiency of property rights allocation
