Abstract

The purpose of this work is to collect, analyze and compare research focused on the study of the processes of transition to Primary Education from the perspective of students. From 1996 to the present, and with a documentary review methodology, an exploratory review of research published in high impact scientific journals is carried out. In addition, research is analyzed in detail whose common denominator is to delve into the word of students through instruments and interpretative research techniques. Results of reviewed studies agree when affirming students confirm the need to front facing transitions not only recognizing and considering all the participants in them, but also promoting processes which recognize the children´s right to participate, to express themselves, and to inform how to face the educational change.
