Analysis of creativity training in Higher Education. A reflection from the Mexican educational context

Abstract

Several investigations that address the topic of creativity in the Mexican higher education system were examined. From four categories, a documentary analysis and a critical review were carried out to show an overview of the value of creativity in the educational process of such an educational level and lay the foundations for the im-provement of strategies. The results show that creativity as a concept is present in formal educational processes; that there are important contributions on the subject that highlight its relevance, and that there is a concern to improve its implementation and its appropriation in training practices.
