Intercultural Education: from quantitative urgency to democratic demand. Guidelines for research and action in the Asturian educational context
Keywords:

As professionals concerned about the formation of citizenship and, in view of the obvious failure that can be seen in what has been done in the field of intercultural education (the latest socio-political events in our more or less close context as evi-denced), we consider first necessity to urgently resume intercultural education as a fun-damental aspect of the school curriculum. As part of a broader research project, we began our reflection by approaching, from our own perspective, what we understand by that education and the fundamental aspects that, from practical action, could be coherent to implement in our schools.
