Evolution of the University Program for Older Adults at the University of Vigo

This article examines the evolution of the University Program for Older Adults at the University of Vigo. The main objective is to conduct an exploratory analysis of the evolution of the student body, with an emphasis on its composition by gender and age. To this end, an analysis of data provided by the University of Vigo has been carried out. The results reveal a steady growth of the student body since 2011, although with a significant impact due to the pandemic. The student profile is predominantly female, and the most represented age group is between 65 and 75 years old.
