Abstract

Spanish formations with the suffix Basque -tegui /tegi/ (amarrategui, aprovechategui) have been documented for some time. This article analyzes the formal, semantic and pragmatic characteristics of such formations in Spanish, which offer features that are completely different from those of the source language.
