Nebulosas of Dictinio de Castillo-Elejabeytia: a thematic and stylistic study

Abstract

This research is about the very first job of Dictinio de Castillo-Elejabeytia, one of the most unknown figures among tbe gallician literature researchers. His first introduction to poetry’s world was a book called Nebulosas which can be studied as part of pure poetry and new popularism (neopopularismo),these two movements were very important influence in the generation of ’27. In this essay we try to discover what makes his poetry unique and what influenced his writing. In doing so,we also focus on influences of great poets such as Juan Ramón Jiménez, Antonio Machado and Garcia Lorca. It’s also very important and significative the way the poet fix the meaning to the form of his poems.
