Abstract

The application of the morphological rules in the elaboration of dictionaries reveals that it is not necessary for derived words to be included in the macro-structure, when their structure and meaning are easily recognizable by the speakers. This is the case with passive participles, but despite that, they are still included in the academic dictionary. However, they only appear under particular circunstances, such as the presence of other meanings inside the lexicographical entry, wich relates this type of forms to the treatment that some parasynthetic adjectives have received in the dictionary
