Abstract

The author proposes a new critical reading for the stanza 338/344 of the Poema de Fernán González by considering, in opposition to the critical editors of this work, that the ‘subjunctive imperfects’ attested in the manuscript are all authentic and that the original treatment employed by the speaker was that of vos during his entire discourse
