ENUNCIADOS PERFORMATIVOS Y VERBOS PERFORMATIVOS: ACERCA DE LA PERFORMATIVIDAD COMO PROPIEDAD GRADUAL (CON ESPECIAL REFERENCIA AL ESPAÑOL)
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to outline a notion of performative verb that, unlike previous approaches, is based on a gradual conception. In this sense, we propose some features (self-referenciality, transparency, conventionalisation, degree of explicitness) that lay the foundations to classify the verbs that can be considered from a performative interpretation in a given language and with which we will be able to explain why a specific verb can or cannot be called ‘performative’.
