Abstract

Using José Luis Sánchez Noriega’s (2000) typology on filmic adaptations according to the level of loyalty vs. creativity adopted from the original text, the article at hand analyzes Juan Vicente Córdoba’s Aunque tú no lo sepas (2003) filmic adaptation as an “interpretation” of Almudena Grandes’s short story “El vocabulario de los balcones” (1996).
