LA POLICRÍTICA DE CORTÁZAR. LA AUTONOMÍA DE LA LITERATURA ENTRE LAS EXIGENCIAS DE LA REVOLUCIÓN

Abstract

This article deals with the essay-poem “Policrítica a la hora de los chacales”, by Julio Cortázar. It was the response given to the “Padilla case” wich caused a rift beetween the cuban authorities and the critical leftish intelligentsia. The author explains the poem in the context of that conflict and focus on its aesthetics as a way of suggesting a new intellectual position in a debate wich raised questions about the autonomy of literary writting in revolutionary times.
