Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the study of Jorge Semprun’s work. We will focus on Aquel domingo, where the main point is the narrator’s experience in Buchenwald, one of the concentration camps founded by Nazism. We will analyze the construction of the subject and how the experience of deportation is created through language.
