Abstract

In this article we analyse some of the works of the Portuguese theatre company mala voadora. We focus on the relation that is established between these works and other artistic disciplines: plastic arts, architecture and theatre. The combination of these disciplines gives rise to a dialog that enriches and densifies its scenic creations. Mala voadora’s plays are the result of the construction/creation of complex structures in which the interaction of different languages - textual, plastic, visual, gestural, or sonorous - plays a fundamental role.
