This paper analyses some of the works in German children's and teenage literature which deal with the war and persecution during National Socialism. From the 19/Us, some authors have tried to confront the past and the armed conflicts in an attempt to express their rebellion against all types of totalitarianism, and also as a way to try to understand the reasons why so much horror, violence and pain have happened. This paper also analyses different narrative styles and examines the difficulties that these authors may find when they try to narrate the shoa and the Nazi past for children and teenagers.
