Abstract

This essay explores the narrative work of the writer Juan Farias Díaz Noriega (1935), following his idea of “the realism in everyday life”. The analysis starts with an introductory part which is mainly theoretical and follows with the main rethorical resources used by the author to achieve the poetic expression of everyday life. These are: concentration of expressive elements, colloquial tone, narrative distance and irony. At the end of the paper, we highlight the subversive works of this writer and his importance in Spanish Children's Literature.
