The fears and challenges brought about by Covid-19 as mechanisms of uncertainty force the rethinking of economic, political, cultural and educational sectors worldwide. From this perspective, this article invites us to think of uncertainty as a pedagogical possibility for the teaching practice of the 21st century in Mexico, and not as an adversity to be avoided. To achieve this, Uncertainty-Based Learning is proposed as a bridge between the ideal and the real of the educational act in this country, based on substantial changes in the professional practice of teaching.
