MECHANISMS OF PROTECTION OF CONTRIBUTIONS MADE TO ACCOUNT BY A MEMBER OF A HOUSING COOPERATIVE

Abstract

This article aims to contextualize and analyze the protection given to the contributions made to account by members of housing cooperatives. These are the second largest type of cooperatives after those of associated work and have
been severely affected by the economic crisis in this sector, and should even go to bankruptcy. After analyzing the concept and legal nature, this article explores the effectiveness of such protection mechanisms.
