Abstract

In its decision dated of the 3 th February 2014, the Oporto Court of Appeal had to decide in which court should be requested the insolvency of a sports association. The Court of Appeal analysed the problem according to a law that was already
substituted by a new one, but this one brings with it new problems that justify this text. In its decision, the Oporto Court of Appeal also discusses if all enterprises must have profit as a goal and what is economic activity.
