THE REFORM OF CREDIT UNIONS REGULATION IN EXTREMADURA

Abstract

The economic crisis has impacted heavily on the Spanish financial sector and very particularly in the field of “social credit”, whose importance is now greater than before.
The autonomous region of Extremadura has modified its regional legislation on Credit Unions, to update the regulation of structural changes and encourage the participation of its partners in main decisions in credit unions.
