Abstract

The decision of the Oporto Tribunal da Relação (court of appeal) of 21 October 2012 deals with the scope of court fees exemptions arising from judicial proceedings when a party is a non profit social welfare organization. The present comment aims to identify the situations in which the said exemptions from court costs can be utilized.
