Abstract

Through the recently published Ordinance No. 7/2014 of 13 th January, the Portuguese State has defined the rules that regulate the registration of Non-Governmental Organizations of People with Disabilities (ONGPD). The provisions of the Ordinance intend to specify the content of the Decree-Law No. 106/2013 of 30 th July, which defines the status of these organizations, as well as the financial support that the Portuguese State intends to give them, which depends on its registration. The Ordinance in question regulates the most organizational part of the Decree-Law, essentially establishing the need for a registration application properly instructed the President of the INR, I. P., and regulating its response,
claim, cancel and update procedures.
