Abstract

The global economic and social scenario no longer supports business and cooperative behavior that does not comply with the rules of compliance with the best corporate practices and ethical behavior. This aspect radiates and magnetizes the entire system and cooperative relationships. The classic and new principles of Cooperative Law gain enormous concrete importance and can be summarized under the epithet of the principle of cooperative functionality, which aims to ensure the health and integrity of the performance of cooperative societies. The issue of the direct and unlimited liability of the members of cooperative entities for their debts and the figure of the investing member are themes of great relevance for Brazilian Cooperative Law.
