COMMENTARY TO THE LAW 4/2014, JULY 11, OF MODIFICATION OF THE LAW 8/2003, MARCH 24, OF THE AUTONOMOUS GOVERNMENT OF VALENCIA, ABOUT COOPERATIVES IN THE VALENCIA COMMUNITY

Abstract

The Law 4/2014, July 11, of modification of the Law 8/2003, March 24, of the Autonomous Government of Valencia, about Cooperatives in the Comunitat Valenciana, introduces substantial changes that come to adapt the Valencian regulation on cooperatives to the reality of this type of organization to the new times. They are so modifications directed to facilitating the full development of the cooperativism, endowing these organizations of the instruments and of the juridical regime that allows them to reach his association and social aims. It is a question of an update to the new times, giving response to the challenges and to the requirements of the 21st century, harmonizing the legislation with the rest of the regulation on cooperatives, introducing them in his management and adapting them to the new technologies and to the possibilities of effective and efficient management that these allow.
