Abstract

The Good Corporate Governance Codes emerged to correct the deficiencies of the supervisory and control instruments of business organizations.

In this regard, the values of the cooperatives will be examined in order to determine if it is necessary to incorporate the Good Corporate Governance Codes in the cooperatives in order to strengthen their government. It will also be analyzed
whether the cooperative companies can adapt to the common Good Corporate Governance Codes to non-cooperative companies or, however, due to their specific nature and characteristics they need their own Codes, adapted to them.
